Thanks you for your interest in Horses being offered for sale on our Website! We hope we get the chance to work with you, on finding your DreamHorse. We receive many request to come and look at what we have for sale. Appointments to see our horses and ponies are limited and are only available to Serious Potential Buyers. (Sorry we No Longer Deal with Window Shoppers)
Our Farm goes to a GREAT DEAL of Trouble to show horses/items being offered for Sale. It Takes up not only our time but any other parties Invloved. Please only Request a Viewing Time if you are Serious about buying one of our Listed Horses.
We Post Video, Pictures and Detailed Desrciptions of everything listed For Sale, so you the Buyer get a better idea about the horse before you make a Lengthy trip to come see the animal in person. Our Ranches goes through the Trouble of doing this So You the Buyer feel like you know what you are getting into before you make such a trip.
You must make an appointment to be able to come and see any of the horses/items we have for sale. This is a Must!! Please don't make Last Minute plans for a trip without contacting us ahead of time. We don't Guarantee Viewing times on a Last Minutes Notice.
*** ALL HORSES AND PONIES ARE SUBJECT TO PRIOR SALE ****
We will NOT hold any horses or ponies for any reason without a Security Deposit. Please inquire with us to set up a Deposit Amount on a horse. **NOTE that 10% of the horses asking price on Equines priced over $1000 is non-refundable** Any horses/items under $1000 it is a $100 dollars non-refundable.
A Deposit only holds the horse or pony for 1 week after we recieve the deposit, unless a different deposit time-line is worked out, Ahead of Time. Deposits we accept our bank money orders & Certified Cashiers checks.
***((.Personal Check are only taken on a Deposit for a Horse/Item listed. The Check Must Clear with the Bank before the Horse/Item leaves!! Pick up times on Horse/Items is only made once you hear from us that the Check has Cleared.))***
**..Anyone sending a None Personal Check for a Deposit will get Priority!!.**
You must Check with Us Before you Send a Deposit on a Horse/Item as someone might aleady have sent a deposit on the same one.
PAYMENTS:
We are willing to work out a payment plan on any of our horses. First the Horse stays with us until paid in FULL, no exceptions!!!! We only take payments for a month, but can extend with different terms, We Never do longer then 2 Months on Payments. A boarding fee with be attached to the sale of the horse, which is an additional cost. Any horse not paid in full by the end of the said agreement will become the property of T.C. Thoroughbred Farm again, and money paid will NOT be refunded. With payments there must be a Non-refundable deposit down on them, for us to hold the horse. We must be notified of any changes in payment on buyers part. You will be notified if your horses condition changes while boarding with us. If it is serious you will be refunded your money, minus board. A Payment Contract will be written up and signed before any arragements are made
VET CHECKS ARE WELCOME A BUYERS EXPENSE. A DIESEL CHARGE WILL APPLY TO GET A HORSE TO THE VET
BUYER EXPENSES:
All horses purchased by Out-of-State buyers are required to have a Coggins test, Health Certificate and some states require a permit number. This will be an additional cost on top of the Purchase price, of the Horse(s). Check with us on the Prices of these Test. The normal coggins test takes 5 days to get back. If you need a rush coggins that will cost more but results are back faster.
Shipping:
We can help get you in touch with many qualified shippers that are reasonably priced. We also can help with delivery within 200 miles, for the price of Diesel, but only available certain times of the year from us. We don't Haul during the Winter.
TRADES:
***Due to the Number of trades offered, we have felt the need to extend on our trading terms**
We do consider trades on any of OUR horses. HAY is always #1 in our book for trading(mold free) any size bales works for us. Any kind that you can feed to horses, timothy, grass, alfalfa, oat hay(still green), etc.. We are currently looking for livestock/horse feeders(round or square), Fence post(wood or steel) Fencing materials(wire, electric fence, boards, etc), another 4-Wheeler or Gator 4x4. We are currently looking for another tractor, age doesn't matter as long as it's in good running condition, or a parts tractor to help bring ours back up. A Camper, A stock trailer(Goose-neck), Panels for horses or livestock, Barn Materials, Portable sheds/stall/pens, Working automatic waters, Goose-neck flat bed trailer, Really anything we could use around the Ranch. These Items listed will always get First Look if Trades Are Offered.
Horse Trades: we are willing to HEAR trades for other horse or horses but first and for most nothing Wild, we can't take in your horses that have vices, bad habits, or buck with you. Horses must be of quality and in good health. Any out of state horses will require a Coggins test before they can be brought to our ranch, ALL Horse must have be current on vaccinations, up to date worming, current farrier work. We are very particular about the horses we would trade for and a FAIR trade is a must for both us and the one offering the trade. Please don't offer us for horses that aren't of the same value as horse you are wanting to trade for. However we will do Partial trading, Multiple trades, and straight across trades for the Right horse. Placing a value on horses is different in everyones eye, but I have College Degree in Equine Studies as well as years of experience is selling and buying horses to know what we believe is a fair price. Any mares being offered as trade should be registered(Broodmare sound horses must have papers), but if they have a performance record to back them papers don't a must. Gelding we perfer papers, but it isn't a must either. We have to be very particular about horses we can bring on to our ranch, there will most likely come a time we have to sell them and if they are problem horses that wouldn't be possible for us. The horse(s) has to be something that would be able to go through our training program and testing program and hopefully find a new loving home.
